Commitment to Excellence: Latest Certifications and Compliance with the 2026 Regulatory Framework

At Krypton Chemical, we understand that innovation isn’t just about creating advanced formulas, but also about ensuring that every solution meets the highest standards of safety, durability, and environmental responsibility.

Recently, we have allocated significant resources to obtain new certifications that reinforce confidence in our systems and position us at the forefront of the new regulatory requirements set to take effect in 2026.

High-performance solutions for flooring and roofing: OS10 and ETE

We have expanded our portfolio of certified solutions to provide greater assurance for civil engineering and building projects:

  • OS10 Certification for RAYSTON FLOOR PUA 30 PARK: This surface protection system, regulated by the German DAfStb directive, provides an exceptional sealing barrier for industrial floors such as those in factories, warehouses, parking garages, and high-traffic areas. It stands out for its crack-bridging capability (class IVT+V), protecting concrete against salts, fuels, and thermal oxidation.

  • ETE Certificate for IMPERMAX POLYUREA H SUPREME: Our most versatile hybrid polyurea now has European Technical Approval. With an elongation of over 650%, it is the ideal solution for structures subject to significant movement. In addition, it has successfully passed hail resistance tests (EN-1358), which are essential given today’s extreme weather conditions.

Transparent Sustainability: Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)

Sustainability is no longer optional. We have obtained EPD certification for flagship products such as RAYSTON FIRE E, IMPERMAX 2K, and IMPERMAX POLYUREA H.

What is an EPD? It is a standardized document (ISO 14025) that assesses a product’s environmental impact throughout its entire life cycle. These certifications will soon be required to obtain CE marking under the new regulation.

Navigating the new legislative framework

The regulatory landscape is changing dramatically, and at Krypton Chemical, we are already prepared for the challenges of 2026:

The New CPR (Regulation (EU) 2024/3110)

Effective January 8, 2026, the Construction Products Regulation will be mandatory. The key measures we are implementing are:

1. From DoP to DOPC: Our declarations now include not only technical data, but also information on sustainability and energy consumption.

2. Digital Product Passport (DPP): We have implemented digital traceability so that all product information is immediately available.

3. Environmental indicators: We have already met the requirement to report on Global Warming Potential, ahead of the 2030 metrics.

New RSCIEI (Fire Safety)

Effective November 10, 2025, compliance with the new Royal Decree 164/2025 is mandatory. Our RAYSTON FIRE E polyurea is designed to meet these new technical requirements and flexible design methods in industrial settings, ensuring maximum safety in the event of a fire.

At Krypton Chemical, we don’t just manufacture resins; we build safety and the future. By obtaining these certifications and proactively adapting to CPR and RSCIEI regulations, we ensure that our customers always have access to materials that exceed global market expectations.
