New Roof Waterproofing

“Amalia Gamboni” Nursery School, Rome (Italy)
System used:
System applied over existing bituminous membrane.
The roof of the nursery school was renovated using a high-performance waterproofing system with excellent adhesion to the existing substrate, free of weak points or overlaps. Designed to withstand weather exposure and the effects of time, the system also improves the building’s thermal efficiency thanks to its cool roof finish.
How we do it:
- Substrate preparation and priming: Application of Primer TP FLEX, a specially formulated primer to ensure adhesion on aged bituminous surfaces.
- Waterproofing: hot-spray application of IMPERMAX POLYUREA H, a pure polyurea membrane that forms a continuous, seamless layer with excellent mechanical, chemical, and waterproofing properties.
- Acabado: aplicación de una capa de acabado con COLODUR blanco, resina alifática resistente a los rayos UV, que aporta una elevada durabilidad al sistema y reduce la temperatura superficial gracias a su efecto reflectante.
