Cependant, pour que ces syst\u00e8mes \u00e0 base de polyur\u00e9e et de polyur\u00e9thane atteignent leurs performances optimales, le mat\u00e9riau doit franchir une \u00e9tape cruciale : passer de l&#8217;\u00e9tat liquide \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9tat solide en plein chantier. <\/p>\n<p>Chez Krypton Chemical, nous ne laissons pas le comportement de nos polyur\u00e9es et polyur\u00e9thanes au hasard. La raison pour laquelle une r\u00e9sine peut \u00eatre projet\u00e9e sans s\u2019agglutiner ou pourquoi une polyur\u00e9e ne coule pas le long d\u2019un mur vertical r\u00e9side dans une discipline fascinante : la rh\u00e9ologie. <\/p>\n<h3><b>Qu&#8217;est-ce que la rh\u00e9ologie et pourquoi devrais-tu t&#8217;y int\u00e9resser ?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>La rh\u00e9ologie est la science qui \u00e9tudie la mani\u00e8re dont les mat\u00e9riaux s&#8217;\u00e9coulent et se d\u00e9forment lorsqu&#8217;une force leur est appliqu\u00e9e. Dans notre secteur, c&#8217;est ce qui fait la diff\u00e9rence entre un produit qui s&#8217;applique \u00ab comme de la soie \u00bb et un autre qui pose des probl\u00e8mes au niveau des machines. <\/p>\n<p>Pour bien comprendre cela, il faut ma\u00eetriser deux concepts fondamentaux:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Viscosit\u00e9 : Il s&#8217;agit de la \u00ab r\u00e9sistance \u00bb \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9coulement. Toutes les r\u00e9sines ne s&#8217;\u00e9coulent pas de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re ; certaines sont con\u00e7ues pour \u00eatre plus fluides, d&#8217;autres pour \u00eatre plus structur\u00e9es. <\/li>\n<li>\u00c9lasticit\u00e9 : Il s&#8217;agit de la capacit\u00e9 du mat\u00e9riau \u00e0 retrouver sa forme initiale apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9form\u00e9, une propri\u00e9t\u00e9 essentielle pour les polyur\u00e9es et les polyur\u00e9thanes soumis \u00e0 des contraintes continues.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>La plupart de nos syst\u00e8mes sont visco\u00e9lastiques : ils combinent ces deux propri\u00e9t\u00e9s. Leur viscosit\u00e9 varie en fonction de la contrainte appliqu\u00e9e. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lors de l&#8217;application : lorsqu&#8217;elles passent par la buse d&#8217;un pistolet ou qu&#8217;elles sont \u00e9tal\u00e9es au rouleau, ces r\u00e9sines voient leur viscosit\u00e9 diminuer, ce qui leur permet de s&#8217;\u00e9couler correctement.<\/li>\n<li>Apr\u00e8s l&#8217;application (thixotropie) : C&#8217;est l\u00e0 que la magie op\u00e8re. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la thixotropie, les r\u00e9sines retrouvent rapidement leur structure une fois appliqu\u00e9es.
